As Christmas joy continues, the Church turns our gaze toward a quiet home in Nazareth. Today we honour the Holy Family—Jesus, Mary, and Joseph—who reveal that holiness is not found in perfection, but in faithful love, obedience, and trust in God.
In a world longing for peace in families, the Holy Family shows us that God chooses ordinary homes to do extraordinary things.
Prayer of the Day
O God,
You were pleased to give us
the shining example of the Holy Family,
humbly living in obedience and love.
Grant that we may imitate
their faith, their patience, and their charity,
so that our homes may become places of peace,
prayer, and holiness.
Strengthen families who are struggling,
heal what is broken,
and unite us always in Your love.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
