Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, a profound moment when Jesus revealed His divine glory to Peter, James, and John on Mount Tabor.

This glimpse of His majesty strengthened the apostles’ faith and reminds us that even in times of suffering, Christ’s glory awaits beyond the cross.

The Transfiguration renews our hope in the promise of eternal life.

Prayer of the Day

Prayer for Transformation

Lord Jesus,
You were transfigured in glory to reveal the splendor of Your divinity to Your chosen disciples.
Shine Your light in the depths of our hearts; cleanse our vision that we may see You more clearly,
love You more dearly, and follow You more nearly.
Transform our fears into faith, and our doubt into trust.
May we listen to Your voice and rise to live as radiant witnesses of Your truth.

Amen.
