Today, the Church celebrates the memorial of Saint Dominic, founder of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans). A man of deep prayer, learning, and love for the truth, Dominic devoted his life to combating heresy through preaching and example.
He believed in the power of study, prayer, and the Holy Rosary as tools for evangelization and conversion.

Prayer for the Grace to Preach the Truth in Love
O God of truth and light,
You raised up Saint Dominic to be a faithful preacher of Your Word.
Grant us the courage to proclaim the Gospel in love, the humility to learn Your ways, and the passion to live for Your glory.
May we, like Dominic, bring many to Christ through gentle witness and unwavering faith.Amen.

Saint Dominic de Guzmán was a Spanish priest and founder of the Dominican Order. He was a man of great intellect and compassion who believed that truth and charity should walk hand-in-hand. His followers, the Dominicans, continue his mission of preaching and defending the faith.
