“Prayer for Trust in God’s Plan”
Lord Jesus,
You know the path before me better than I know myself.
When I grow weary or uncertain, help me to trust in Your divine plan.
Teach me to surrender my worries and fears into Your hands.
Fill me with courage to walk in faith,
patience to wait upon Your timing,
and gratitude for every blessing unseen.May my heart rest in Your will today and always.

Saint of the Day: St. Alphonsus Rodriguez (1533–1617)
Born in Segovia, Spain, Alphonsus Rodriguez lived a humble life filled with loss, prayer, and perseverance. As a young man, he married and had children, but tragedy struck when his wife and children all died within a short span. Alone and grieving, Alphonsus turned deeply to prayer and discernment.
At age 40, he joined the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) not as a priest but as a lay brother. Assigned to the Jesuit college in Majorca, he served as a porter — a doorkeeper — for over 40 years. Yet through that seemingly simple duty, Alphonsus transformed lives. Every student, stranger, and visitor who met him encountered a man radiant with peace, humility, and holiness.
He gave spiritual counsel to many, including St. Peter Claver, inspiring him to become a missionary to enslaved Africans in the New World. Alphonsus’s quiet example revealed that sanctity isn’t about position or prestige — it’s about faithful service in everyday life.
He died on October 31, 1617, and was canonized in 1888 by Pope Leo XIII.
