Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the light of the world and the strength of all who believe in You.
Help me to live each day with faith that is alive—faith that acts, forgives, and loves.
May my words and deeds reflect Your truth, and may I never grow weary in doing good.
Strengthen me when I am weak, comfort me when I am troubled,
and fill my heart with Your peace.

Born in 1880 in France, Elizabeth Catez—later known as Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity—was a Carmelite nun known for her profound spiritual writings and mystical relationship with God.
From a young age, Elizabeth was drawn to prayer and silence. She entered the Carmelite Monastery in Dijon at the age of 21, where her deep love for the Holy Trinity became the center of her spiritual life.
Despite enduring great physical suffering from Addison’s disease, Elizabeth offered her pain for the glory of God, famously writing:
