Today, we continue our journey through the final days of Ordinary Time, reflecting on God’s boundless mercy and love for all creation. The Church reminds us that God’s patience and compassion are everlasting — He calls each of us to repentance, to faithfulness, and to a deeper communion with Him.
As we meditate on His Word, may our hearts be renewed with hope and humility.
Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father,
You are rich in mercy and slow to anger. Teach me to walk humbly before You and to extend forgiveness to others just as You have forgiven me. Help me to trust in Your divine plan even when I do not understand it, and to love as You love — freely, completely, and unconditionally.
Grant me the grace to see Your presence in the people I meet and in the trials I face. May my life reflect Your peace and my words bring comfort to those in need.

Mass Reading of the Day
First Reading: Ephesians 6:1–9

Jesus teaches about the narrow gate, reminding His followers that entry into the Kingdom of Heaven requires effort, faith, and sincere conversion of heart — for many will seek to enter but will not be strong enough.
Saint of the Day: Saint Narcissus of Jerusalem (Bishop and Confessor)
St. Narcissus of Jerusalem lived in the 2nd and 3rd centuries and served as the 30th bishop of Jerusalem. Renowned for his holiness, humility, and wisdom, he became known as a man of miracles and prayer.
Legend tells that during an Easter vigil, when the lamps in the church had run out of oil, St. Narcissus prayed — and the water from nearby vessels was transformed into oil, allowing the vigil to continue in radiant light. This miracle strengthened the faith of the early Christian community.
Despite his sanctity, false accusations from his enemies led him to withdraw into solitude for several years. During this time, the accusers met divine retribution for their lies, and when the truth was revealed, the people begged Narcissus to return to his episcopal duties. Though elderly, he returned to serve until he was well over 100 years old, continuing to guide the faithful with gentleness and divine wisdom.
His life is a testament to endurance, faith, and forgiveness — virtues the Church calls us to imitate.
