Prayer of the Day
Loving and just God,
You have entrusted us with gifts and responsibilities for the good of all.
Grant us the wisdom to manage what you have given, the humility to accept our limits,
and the generosity to serve others without counting the cost.
May we live our lives in gratitude, aware that at the end we will stand before you.
Help us to be faithful in small things, so that you may entrust us with greater things.

Saint of the Day
Saint Willibrord (c. 658-739)
Feast Day: November 7
Willibrord was born around 658 in Northumbria, England. He entered the Benedictine life and was later sent as a missionary to the Frisian people (in what’s now the Netherlands) and other parts of the Low Countries. In 695, he was consecrated bishop in Rome and became the first bishop of Utrecht.
Known as the “Apostle to the Frisians,” Willibrord established monasteries, educated new converts, and worked to embed the faith in cultures previously unfamiliar with the Gospel. He combined missionary boldness with monastic discipline, bringing hope, transformation, and the presence of Christ into hostile or pagan territories. He died on November 7, 739, in Echternach (present-day Luxembourg).
His life invites us to cross cultural boundaries, build bridges of faith, and carry the Gospel into places where it is little known — while also remaining rooted in prayer, community, and service.
