On this Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Easter, the Church invites us to deepen our trust in Christ’s promises. As we continue our Easter journey, we are reminded of the importance of abiding in Jesus—the true vine—to bear lasting fruit.
Prayer of the Day – May 6th, 2025
Heavenly Father,
You are the giver of true peace and the sustainer of our souls.
As we journey through this Easter season, fill our hearts with the peace Christ offers—peace not as the world gives, but a deep, abiding peace that dispels all fear.
May we, like the early apostles, stand firm in the faith amid trials, and like Saint Dominic Savio, seek holiness even in our youth and simplicity.
Lord Jesus, help us to abide in You, to trust Your promises, and to walk the path of righteousness with joy.
May Your Spirit guide our thoughts, guard our actions, and give us the courage to live out our faith boldly.
Amen.

Saint of the Day: Saint Dominic Savio (Optional Memorial)
Brief History:
Though not officially on the universal calendar today, some regions commemorate Saint Dominic Savio, a young student of Saint John Bosco. Known for his deep piety and cheerful holiness, he died at just 14 years old but left behind a legacy of sanctity and devotion.
Interesting Facts:
- Born in Italy in 1842.
- Famous quote: “Death rather than sin.”
- He is the patron saint of choirboys and the falsely accused.
