Daily Prayer
O God of all strength and mercy,
You gave Saints Marcellinus and Peter the grace to bear witness to Your truth in the face of death.
Grant us the courage to live with faith that stands firm in adversity,
the humility to serve without recognition,
and the love to lay down our lives in daily acts of charity and peace.
Strengthen our hearts with hope and deepen our trust in You,
so that, like them, we may receive the crown of eternal life.

Catholic Saint of the Day – Saints Marcellinus and Peter
Saints Marcellinus, a priest, and Peter, an exorcist, were martyred during the persecution of Christians under the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the early 4th century.
They were beheaded in secret, and their names were later revealed by a Roman official who became a Christian after witnessing their faith. Their relics were highly venerated, and they are named in the Roman Canon (Eucharistic Prayer I).
