Today, the Church honours Saints Fabian and Sebastian, courageous martyrs who bore witness to Christ during times of fierce persecution.

As Jesus continues His ministry of healing and teaching in the Gospel, we are reminded that true faith is not only spoken—but lived, even unto sacrifice.

O God,
glory of your holy Martyrs Fabian and Sebastian,
grant us, through their intercession,

who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, forever and ever.
Amen.
