O Most Holy Virgin Mary,
You appeared to Saint Simon Stock and gave him the Scapular as a sign of your love and protection. Grant that, through his prayers and your intercession, we may remain faithful to Christ and find refuge under your mantle. May our lives reflect trust, humility, and devotion as we journey toward heaven. Amen.

Saint of the Day: Saint Simon Stock
Born in England in the 12th century, Saint Simon Stock joined the Carmelite Order and became one of its most revered leaders. During a time of crisis in the Order, he turned to the Blessed Virgin Mary in prayer.
In response, he received a vision of her presenting the Brown Scapular, with the promise that those who die wearing it would not suffer eternal fire. This devotion spread widely and became one of the most beloved Marian traditions.
