1. A Heavenly Visit in Troubled Times
In 1917, the world was in turmoil. World War I was ravaging nations, and atheism was spreading. Against this backdrop, Our Lady appeared to three children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta—in the small village of Fatima, Portugal. Her visits spanned from May to October, each carrying urgent calls from Heaven.

2. Call to Daily Prayer – Especially the Rosary
At each of the six apparitions, Our Lady asked the children—and all Catholics—to pray the Rosary daily.

One of the most sobering parts of the Fatima message was the vision of hell, shown to the children in July.

This vision was meant not to cause fear, but to awaken souls to repentance and turn them toward the mercy of God.
4. Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Our Lady asked for devotion to her Immaculate Heart, especially through the First Saturday Devotions. She promised salvation to those who honor her heart through:
- Confession
- Communion
- Five consecutive first Saturdays
- Meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary
- Praying with the intention of making reparation
5. Peace and the Conversion of Russia
Another major theme of the Fatima messages was a call for the conversion of Russia, which at the time was about to fall under atheistic Communism.
