Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
As a new week unfolds, I seek Your strength and peace. Through the intercession of Saint Lawrence of Brindisi, grant me wisdom in my words, courage in my trials, and a heart filled with compassion.
Help me, O Lord, to witness Your truth boldly, yet humbly—just as Saint Lawrence did. Fill my spirit with Your Word and make me a vessel of peace in my family, workplace, and community.
May I rely not on my understanding, but always turn to You in faith and trust. Give me the grace to walk in Your ways and to seek You in all I do today.
In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

A renowned Capuchin priest and Doctor of the Church, Saint Lawrence was known for his gift of preaching and mastery of multiple languages. He used his intellect to defend the faith, preach peace, and convert souls. Despite his scholarly gifts, he remained deeply humble and prayerful.
