On this day, the Church commemorates Saint Veronica Giuliani, a Capuchin Poor Clare nun known for her deep mysticism, intense sufferings, and profound union with the Passion of Christ.

She bore the stigmata and experienced numerous visions of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin. Her life reminds us that holiness often involves hidden sacrifice and interior transformation.

Let us pray today for the grace to embrace the crosses in our lives with love, just as Saint Veronica did

Prayer of the Day

Lord Jesus Crucified,
You revealed the depth of Your love to Saint Veronica Giuliani
Through her intimate sharing in Your Passion.
Give us the courage to carry our daily crosses
With the same joy, faith, and surrender that she showed.
May our hearts burn with love for You,
And may our lives reflect the power of redemptive suffering.
Through the intercession of Saint Veronica,
Strengthen us to live for You, even in hidden sacrifice.
Amen.
