As we continue our Lenten journey, today invites us to reflect deeply on God’s mercy and our call to conversion. Through repentance and faith, we are reminded that God is always ready to welcome us back with open arms, no matter how far we may have strayed.
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Merciful Father,
You never tire of forgiving us and calling us back to You.
In this sacred season of Lent,
soften our hearts and open our eyes to Your truth.
Help us to turn away from sin
and embrace a life of holiness and love.
Teach us to be patient, kind, and forgiving,
just as You are with us.
Strengthen our faith in times of doubt,
and guide us always along the path of righteousness.
May our lives reflect Your grace and mercy
in all that we do.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
Amen.

🌿 Saint of the Day: Saint John Climacus

Saint John Climacus (c. 7th century) is one of the most profound spiritual masters in Christian history. Born likely in the region of Palestine, he entered monastic life at a young age at Mount Sinai, dedicating himself entirely to prayer, silence, and spiritual growth.
After many years of formation, he withdrew into solitude as a hermit for nearly four decades. In this hidden life, he deepened his relationship with God, practicing discipline, humility, and constant prayer.
Later, he was called back to serve as the abbot of the monastery at Mount Sinai. It was during this time that he wrote his famous spiritual work, The Ladder of Divine Ascent, a guide describing the soul’s journey toward God in 30 steps—each representing a stage of spiritual growth.
His life is a powerful testimony of transformation—from detachment from the world to deep union with God. He teaches that holiness is a journey, climbed step by step with perseverance and grace.
